Recently, Pi network announced that their twitter page now ranks 9th most followed twitter page in crypto field. Their official twitter page has more than 1.8 million twitter followers at the date of writing in article. This is a huge and fascinating number considering that the Pi Network is still on in their early phase of rolling out their Mainnet.

Pi Network’s official announcement celebrated their twitter achievement by thanking their users participation and saying that they’ve loved interacting with and growing the Pi community in social media. With the growth in popularity, there have been many reports of fake Pi network accounts who claim to be authentic to scam the people.
Pi Network urged all its users (Pioneers) to only follow the official Pi accounts and pages that they have published. Any accounts and pages that does not appear on the list provided by the Pi network are not related to Pi and most likely are the scams.
